Meet our Holiday Home Owners at Tregoad Holiday Park

Tregoad Holiday Park is a natural paradise, perfectly blending a secluded location with easy access to some incredible local attractions. You don’t need to take our word for it though – why not let our homeowners tell you why they love it here so much?

Frances and Malcolm,
Proud Great-Grandparents & Holiday Home Owners

Frances and Malcolm stumbled across Tregoad Holiday Park whilst visiting a relative with a lodge on-site. They immediately fell in love with the stunning views, well-kept grounds and nearby town of Looe — marching down to the sales office and deciding there and then that Tregoad was the place for them. What was it about their holiday home that sealed the deal for them?

“The kitchen struck me first of all – I didn't realise how lovely the kitchens were. We haven't really been in a lodge before. Everything was in the kitchen, [it had] a nice big fridge freezer, it was almost like a living room at home, you know? That's what struck me straight away. I thought, yeah, I could spend quite a bit of time here. It just really felt like it was a home from home.”

Lesley-Ann Simpson,
CEO – The Chestnut Appeal for Men’s Health

The Chestnut Appeal for Men’s Health bought a lodge at Tregoad Holiday Park to provide a quiet respite, where their cancer patients could enjoy the peace of the countryside. Since then, they’ve had nothing but glowing feedback! As CEO Lesley-Ann Simpson told us:

“There’s a visitor's book in the holiday home so they can write things. It says… ‘We had a fantastic week, blessed with sunshine. Every day we unwound from this chaotic world, played cards and visited some lovely places, including Lanhydrock, National Trust and Cardingham Woods. We even had fish and chips in Liskeard! Thank you so much for this.”

With the Waterside team by their side before, during and after their purchase, they’ve felt supported at every turn of their holiday home ownership journey.

“They just really do go above and beyond. The process of buying the holiday home was really simple: choose the holiday home and the plot that we wanted, put a deposit down. They gave me a glass of prosecco to celebrate and that was it. Really simple!”

Laura and Susan,
Mother and Daughter, Dog Owners and Memory Makers at Tregoad Holiday Park

After struggling to find a traditional caravan during lockdown, Laura and her mum decided to visit Tregoad to see if they fancied a holiday home that didn’t move around. In their words:

“We were invited here one day and [we] ended up buying one on the day!.. It’s the best thing we ever did, it’s just lovely here.”

With owners’ events every month, they dived into the park's social life and new neighbours quickly became good friends. What are they up to these days?

“We’ll pop down every weekend because we’ve made good friends with a lot of people in the park - we all just meet up down there. Chit chat, few drinks, have a laugh. Home away from home isn’t it?”
