If you want to explore the local area, there is a wealth of attractions that cater for everyone.
Lansallos Beach is a quiet, attractive cove of sand and rocks. There is a small waterfall on the western side of the beach. Ideal for those with a sense of adventure.
A small and sandy beach revealing a cluster of rock pools at low tide, filled with habitats of unique animals and plants. Plaidy beach is the perfect place for dog lovers, being a dog friendly beach all year round.
The Eden Project

The Lost Gardens of Heligan
Lose yourself in Europe’s largest garden restoration. Only discovered 30 years ago, the beautiful 200 acres of history, mystery and romance are perfect for exploring any time of year.
Lantic Bay is a south-facing sun trap with glorious views over the impressive Pencarrow Head. It’s perfect for relaxing Cornish strolls, taking in the beautiful scenery.
Lanhydrock House and Garden
There is so much to explore at Lanhydrock with a network of pathways to discover. Wander through the trees and rivers in the grounds surrounding the Lanhydrock estate.
Just a 5 minute drive from Tregoad is the beautiful little fishing town of Looe. The town has a small harbour and is situated along the valley of the River Looe which flows through it.
Rame Head is a headland just southwest of the coastal village of Rame. Here you’ll find Dartmoor ponies grazing and a beautiful chapel with views over the Cornish coastline.
Nestled amongst the unspoilt Cornish coast, Mevagissey is a village with two beaches and a harbour. Sit and enjoy award-winning fish and chips all washed down with a local ale.
